SudoClaw is an iOS operator client for a user-configured OpenClaw Gateway. The app lets users connect to their own Gateway, chat with their configured assistant, inspect Gateway and system status, manage saved connections, and handle operator approval flows.
SudoClaw stores app state locally on the user’s device, including saved connection metadata, app preferences, Gateway state needed for the user interface, and related local app data.
Gateway credentials are stored locally in the iOS Keychain. Preferences and non-secret local state may be stored in the app container, UserDefaults, or the app’s local persistence layer.
When a user connects SudoClaw to an OpenClaw Gateway, chat messages, Gateway requests, approval actions, status requests, and similar operator data may be transmitted to the Gateway URL configured by the user.
That Gateway is outside the app bundle and may be operated by the user, their organization, or another environment chosen by the user. Users should review the privacy and retention practices of the Gateway they choose to connect to.
SudoClaw does not collect personal data for developer-controlled analytics, advertising, tracking, or sale to third parties.
Data sent to a user-configured Gateway is sent to service the user’s request to that Gateway. It is not sent to a developer-controlled analytics, advertising, or tracking service by SudoClaw.
If SudoClaw adds analytics, crash reporting, hosted sync, account services, or another developer-operated backend in the future, this policy and the App Store privacy answers must be updated before that version is submitted.
SudoClaw does not show ads, use third-party advertising SDKs, track users across apps or websites, or share data with data brokers.
SudoClaw may request camera access if the user chooses to scan an OpenClaw QR setup code. The camera is used for setup-code scanning only.
Users can also configure a Gateway manually when that flow is available, without scanning a QR code.
SudoClaw may request notification permission only if the user enables an app behavior that needs local alerts or reminders.
Users can remove saved Gateway connections in the app or uninstall SudoClaw to remove local app data from the device.
Gateway-side logs, messages, or retained data must be managed through the connected Gateway’s own controls.
